Jim Dine – Guerilla Art at Kunsthaus Göttingen

April 14, 2019: When Jim Dine was in Göttingen to work on a new project, he took the opportunity to put a test drawing on the walls of the Kunsthaus.

Equipped with helmet and black chalk, he climbed with Gerhard Steidl into the basement of the building. Meanwhile, the rain has unfortunately washed away the temporary installation, but “That does not matter – it was just a test,” says Jim.

Jim Dine was born in 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He works as a painter, sculptor and graphic artist. His works have been shown many times in solo and group exhibitions; they are part of the collection of important museums and collections worldwide.
