But instead of a one-sided lecture, the result is a lively exchange: together we immerse ourselves in the world of artistic positions, reflect on themes and engage in dialogue.

The format offers the opportunity to experience and discuss art in a personal way – an enrichment for all those who not only want to view art, but also engage in dialogue about it.

Discover a new way of experiencing art at SILENT_talks – almost without words. Have you ever wondered how intense the effect of art can be when we look at it together, physically but wordlessly, expressing ourselves only through non-verbal means?

In this new format, we explore the exhibition space in silence, let the works speak for themselves and immerse ourselves in their meaning. We will encounter the artistic positions using practical artistic means and exchange ideas with the help of writing, signs, colours and symbols. By changing our gaze, embodying thoughts, taking notes and clustering words, we open up a participative, new space of understanding.

SILENT_talks offers a moving, material-based bridge between us and the themes of art. Let’s embark together on a silent yet impactful tour through unknown spaces where the exchange lies beyond words.

Welcome to the “ART_lab” at the Kunsthaus – the creative laboratory for anyone interested in researching, experimenting and creating!

Come along with a friend, your grandma or your godparent – the ART_lab invites you to explore the exhibition space in an artistic and exploratory way. Through creative experiments, we decipher the diverse artistic strategies and methods that characterise the artistic works.

The ART_lab is a place of transformation: a laboratory where we have the opportunity to explore the complexity and multi-layered nature of artistic production.

The CREA_table – a hands-on station – is a permanent part of the exhibition space for one afternoon. The CREA_table follows the principle of the open studio and offers a platform for your own creative practice and for a discursive exchange with other visitors. Together or individually, you can develop the content of the exhibition further, pursue impulses and encounter the art on display in the space in a new way through creative and practical means! Take a seat and join in!

Holiday time is art time! On two consecutive days, children aged 7 and over can get creative and immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art. After taking a closer look at art, lots of exciting and artistic experiments and techniques await you – all centred around the exhibition.

Get out of the studio and into the Kunsthaus with your yoga mat under your arm! The combination of contemporary art and yoga offers a special change of perspective, touches the senses and sharpens the perception of body and mind as well as the themes of the exhibition.

The exercises at Yoga:Art are harmonised with a short themed tour beforehand, so that new and unexpected approaches, interpretations and ways of looking at the exhibited art can emerge during the yoga class. The programme takes place in cooperation with the “YogiJulia” studio – right in the middle of the exhibition space!

On the first Thursday of every month, you can simply relax and unwind in an evening atmosphere after a busy day… You can expect exciting themes from the exhibition peppered with interesting anecdotes and the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine afterwards.
