Thick fog leads to the cancellation of all flights at Berlin-Tempelhof. Numerous travellers are stranded at the airport late in the evening, fates intersect, this night changes everything. “Die endlose Nacht” was awarded four Federal Film Prizes in 1963 and was the breakthrough for the then 21-year-old Hannelore Elsner.
