»Living images und speaking photographs«

Do you know the saying “A picture is worth a 1000 words?” You’ve probably heard it before. Sometimes it also seems that the pictures want to speak to you and can come across as very lively. The artist Maya Mercer from the USA and the German poet Albert Ostermaier combine two art forms in their project: photography and poetry. Inspired by the work of art »Yuba«, we will try to compose a suitable poem that brings the pictures to life with family pictures brought with us.
