Guided Tour in English Language

The documenta fifteen partner project »printing futures – art for tomorrow« is a plea for paper and print in a wide variety of forms. In the one-hour tour you will learn more about the social, artistic and political significance of a material and a technique that will probably never be defeated, contain almost limitless possibilities of use and are more relevant than ever. True to the motto »Print is not dead«, you will discover a variety of artistic approaches and topics during the tour: From books that function as an exhibition, to the role of paper in political protests, to experimental and intuitive approaches to the form of design, you can expect a multifaceted overview of a material without which the world would probably be completely different.
