Sebastian Stumpf

“New spaces”

Video projection with audio

Urbanity and body – what is the relationship between man and his living space? In his work “New Spaces”, the artist Sebastian Stumpf accompanies the development process of the Kunsthaus from the early construction work to its completion.

He positions himself lying in the places of construction – sometimes as a quiet pole in the middle of the works, sometimes as an eye-catcher in dizzying positions that illustrate the dimensions of the architecture. Thus, the documentation of a building process becomes a charming homage to the Kunsthaus, which playfully shows the development.
